Not so Sour but a Missing Floor and a Dry Toilet

It looks like those homemade pickles aren't so sour after all! I bit into one the other night after letting them marinate for about a week and they taste like sweet vinegar. I'm highly disappointed in the outcome but the learning the process of pickling was fun and I'm inspired to try it again with some variations until I get it the way I like it.

Beth and I also no longer have a floor in our guest bathroom. I got a bit of a rage release last night and ripped up the vinyl flooring that had been there for some time (read: since the builder put it there....the cheep-ass didn't even invest in a subfloor....just took the vinyl and slapped it down over the wood.) I even got the quarteround up too! We are getting ready to lay some tile down this weekend and this was the beginning of the "prep" work. Additionally, I drained the water out of the toilet and will take that off tonight. I should have some pictures to post then.

Do you ever re-read the post before you post it? I think you brain works faster then your fingers . . .

Yes I do but something gets lost in the translation. Perhaps if my wife didn't smack my head all the time I might have some brain cells left to fix the errors that this crappy HTML editor imposes.
